I grew up in a musical family, playing on any instrument I could find in our house. My earliest memories are of me messing around on a Yamaha keyboard. When I was 11 in the Spring of 2009, my older brother got me into guitar, and that was the first time I was truly serious about music. It only took me a year before I had decided that I wanted to do music for the rest of my life.
I was influenced by a lot of different genres growing up, from punk rock and ska, to disco and 80s ballads, but I could never find a genre that I didn’t get bored with after a short while. It wasn’t until the summer of 2011, that I first discovered electronic dance music, and was instantly hooked. I spent that following year discovering new artists, festivals, raves, and learning about the whole culture and scene behind dance music. I loved everything about it, and I wanted to know how it was created. In the summer of 2012 at the age of 14, I began producing electronic music. At the time, it was just out of curiosity, but within 2 years, it had completely taken over my life. I wanted to do nothing but write dance music.
At the age of 16, I began learning how to DJ and soon was playing my music at different small events. I am now 18 years old, have been producing for 4 years, and have signed a contract with A2B Publishing. I can’t wait to see what the following years may bring and am super excited to be able to wake up and do what I love, writing and producing electronic dance music.
